Part of the Rienda Collection, La Sombra draws inspiration from landscapes shaped by sun, wind, and movement—from the sailboats of the California coast to the deserts of the north and the highlands of central Mexico. Crafted from premium loden green cotton twill and built with a classic four-panel construction, it balances utility, comfort, and understated style.

Its elongated bill traces its lineage to the practical fishing and sailing caps of the twentieth century, a silhouette made iconic by Ernest Hemingway during his years on the water. Designed to cast generous shade and reduce glare, the extended bill lends the cap both distinctive character and enduring function.

Embroidered on the front with the Rafael Adón starburst RA insignia, La Sombra carries a subtle mark of identity—an emblem of craftsmanship, exploration, and a life shaped by diverse landscapes and traditions.

Durable enough for everyday wear yet refined in its simplicity, La Sombra reflects the spirit of objects made with purpose. Like every piece in the Rienda Collection, it is designed for movement—along a harbor, across a desert road, or through a cobblestone plaza—growing more personal with each journey.
